Ladybitches Productions haben wir 2021 mit der Absicht gegründet, mit einem künstlerischen Ansatz respektvolle Arbeitsstrukturen und queer-migrantische Darstellungen zu schaffen. Wir setzten uns für Diversität vor und hinter der Kamera ein und wollen feministische und vielfältige Geschichten feiern. Mit einem queer gaze wollen wir die Darstellung weiblicher Körper in Filmen zu verändern. Unsere Filme und Serien sind Gesellschaftskritik mit Humor. Als Geschichtenerzählerinnen schätzen wir die Verantwortung, die unsere Fiktionen mit sich bringen, und möchten mutige Vorbilder für FLINTA und Migrant:innen schaffen, da Repräsentation wichtig ist und uns das Gefühl gibt, weniger allein zu sein. Unser Debütfilm Ladybitch handelt von unseren persönlichen Erfahrungen mit Missbrauch in der Film- und Theaterbranche.
We founded Ladybitches Productions in 2021 with the intention of creating respectful working structures and queer-migrant representations with an artistic approach. We advocated for diversity in front of and behind the camera and want to celebrate feminist and diverse stories. With a queer gaze we want to change the representation of female bodies in films. Our films and series are social critique with humour. As storytellers, we value the responsibility that our fictions bring and want to create brave role models for FLINTA and migrant:ins, as representation is important and makes us feel less alone. Our debut film Ladybitch is about our personal experiences of abuse in the film and theatre industry.
Marina Prados wurde in Barcelona geboren, studierte Schauspiel und lebt seit 2016 in Berlin. Seitdem hat sie das Schauspiel hinter sich gelassen. Nun ist Marina als Autorin, Regisseurin und Produzentin tätig. Begonnen hat diese Arbeit vorrangig in Theatern wie dem Ballhaus Ost Berlin, dem Maxim-Gorki Theater und der P14/Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg Platz.
Marina Prados was born in Barcelona, studied acting and has lived in Berlin since 2016. Since then, she has left acting behind. Now Marina works as a writer, director and producer. This work began primarily in theatres such as the Ballhaus Ost Berlin, the Maxim-Gorki Theatre and the P14/Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg Platz.
Paula Knüpling, geboren in Berlin, lebt und arbeitet in ihrer Heimatstadt. Seit ihrem achten Lebensjahr spielte Paula als Schauspielerin in Film- und Fernsehproduktionen unter Regisseur:innen wie Dani Levy, Julie Delpy, Bodo Fürneisen, Aelrun Goette und Angela Schanelec. Inzwischen arbeitet Paula als Autorin, Regisseurin und Produzentin in Berlin.
